Yin is about decorating
your
soul.

[To be a gorgeous home for yourself.]

Welcome to

yin with Berbel

Step into a space where you are invited to feel, explore, and simply be.

Yin With Berbel is a home for the soul.

A place where softness meets sensuality, where stillness can exist alongside play, and where beauty, curiosity and unexpected chaos are always welcome.

Here, we hang out with all the parts of ourselves.

The part that wants to move and the part that wants to stay in bed. The part that feels sexy, the part that feels shy, the part that worries about tomorrow and the part that wants to dance for absolutely no reason. You don't always have to understand yourself. Sometimes you can simply listen, follow what feels good, and see where it takes you.

Through yoga, relaxation, creativity, spell and little invitations to play, Yin With Berbel is a place to come home to yourself. Without having to leave any part of yourself at the door.

A little softer. A little wilder. A little more you.

Meet Berbel

YOGA LOVER. BABY WITCH. TATTOO ENTHUSIAST.

I'm Berbel — the person behind Yin With Berbel.

About six years ago, I started following yoga videos on YouTube while living in a little room in Hollandsche Rading that felt ike a treehouse. I spent my days cooking nice meals, watching Yoga With Tim, spending my inheritance on rent, and, admittedly, suffering through my shopaholism. Divine balance, I suppose.

Back then, I never gave Yin yoga a chance. My ego was not having it. It seemed far too slow and “easy”. I wanted to feel like an advanced practitioner instead of surrender to the stillness.

Ironically, now I'm in the process of becoming a Yin yoga teacher. I chose Yin because it invites us to soften, slow down and listen beyond the physical body. To notice what is happening underneath — our emotions, sensations, thoughts and intuition.

I believe yoga doesn't have to be about becoming better at being yourself. It can simply be a way of coming home to yourself. And perhaps that is what I'm learning, too.

SOFTEN. LISTEN. FEEL. COME HOME.
